Is this course accepted by my Florida court? +
Yes. Life Works Parenting is DCF-approved and accepted in every circuit throughout Florida, including all counties. Nebraska is also now available statewide.
How long does it take to complete? +
The course takes approximately 4 hours. It's fully self-paced — pause and resume anytime, on any device, 24 hours a day.
When do I receive my certificate? +
Your official completion certificate is emailed to you instantly upon finishing the course. You can submit it directly to the court.
Is the course available in Spanish? +
Yes. The Florida Co-Parenting 101 online course is fully available in Spanish. Select "Iniciar Curso de Florida — Español" to begin.
What if I can't afford the fee? +
A reduced fee is available for those who qualify for indigent status. Click the Fee Waiver link before enrolling to apply. We believe no parent should be denied access.
Do both parents need to take the course? +
Florida law mandates that divorcing parents and those in paternity actions complete a parenting class within 45 days of filing. Both parents typically must complete it.
